Executive Protection Medic

The Executive Protection Paramedic is responsible for the safety and well-being of high-profile clients by providing close protection and emergency medical support. This role combines advanced medical proficiency with strong protective services capabilities in dynamic, high-risk environments. The candidate should thrive in a team environment with shifting priorities, projects, and evolving security program expectations. Adherence to discretion and confidentiality is mandatory, with a capacity to assess and communicate sensitive topics and risks in a reasonable manner. Operating with integrity in all aspects of the job is a must. Ideal past job experiences that prepare candidates for this role may include executive protection, alarm/camera operators, residential security, emergency response, or a combination of these.

What You Will Work On:
- Provide emergency medical care to clients and team members during protective operations.
- Perform CPR, ALS/ACLS, and trauma care within the scope of certification.
- Monitor client well-being, respond to incidents, and document care provided.
- Support and participate in tactical readiness training for EP teams.
- Conduct medical and security assessments for operations and travel.
- Drive and transport clients safely; conduct route planning and advances.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal teams.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and situational awareness at all times.
- Ensure all reports, timesheets, and incident documentation are timely and accurate.
- Comply with company policies, medical protocols, and client standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid NREMT and California Paramedic License
- 3+ years paramedic experience (civilian or military)
- Current ACLS and CPR certifications (AHA or equivalent)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured
- Ability to legally carry a firearm and obtain required security licensing
- Strong communication, judgment, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical readiness test
- U.S. Passport eligible
- Must maintain physical and mental readiness
- Able to adapt to high-pressure, changing environments
- Comfortable working independently or in teams
- Willingness to handle confidential information responsibly
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Desired Qualifications:
- CA CCW, LEOSA/HR218 endorsement
- SOCM, TECC, PHTLS, PALS, EPC certifications
- Experience supporting SOF units or high-value clients
- Background in law enforcement, military, or emergency services
- EP/Close Protection training and certifications
- Instructor credentials in medical or tactical disciplines
- Advanced driving, defensive tactics, or covert protection training
