The Embedded Key Personnel and Security Services Manager will be responsible for the overall physical security success of the client. This position will serve as the primary point of contact, overseeing the event security program. The Embedded Key Personnel and Security Services Manager will help client make confident informed decisions, whether strategic, tactical, or operational related.
This is a REMOTE position and candidate can live anywhere in the United States.
25% travel is expected
Some of the key responsibilities of an Embedded Key Personnel and Security Services Manager includes:
- Design, develop, and manage safety and security principles, policies, procedures, and training
- Support the implementation of the firm’s revised event security playbook by assessing known events, developing comprehensive security action plans, and executing or overseeing mitigation measures to address potential risks
- Assist with travel security management processes by conducting location assessments, briefing travellers, and tracking their movements enroute to their destinations
- Partner with firm event stakeholders to ensure effective planning, deployment of security controls, risk mitigation, and post-event analysis to continually improve event security strategies
- Advising other key security management on safety and security matters
- Maintain daily operational awareness of confidential schedules and collaborate with internal staff to enhance current security services, including business travel, meetings, and office security
- Oversee and conduct residential security assessments for personnel based on identified risk factors, as referred by the client Workplace Threat Assessment Team
- Conduct periodic project security audits to ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and standards
- Work closely with the Firm Security Services and Cyber teams to continuously monitor emerging threats, adjusting and implementing risk-based security measures to ensure comprehensive protection
- Maintain relationships with contracted car services and client Travel Security Services managers to ensure security preparedness for all firm personnel during business travel and related activities.
Job Responsibilities and Scope
- Support year one execution of the security portions of the firm’s revised client event and meetings team playbook by timely assessing known events, socializing service offerings to expand earlier notice of events, developing security action plans based on assessed risks, and directly execute or provide oversight to mitigation measures when applied
- Support year one execution of the security portions of the firm’s revised client sports and marketing team playbook by timely assessing known events, socializing service offerings to expand earlier notice of events/meetings, developing security action plans based on assessed risks, and directly execute or provide oversight to mitigation measures when applied
- Maintain daily operational awareness of confidential schedules (management committee, board levels, and as needed select individual schedules) working closely with supporting staff in direct conversations enhancing current service offerings for business travel, meetings, identifying collateral risks due to presence at client hosted or other industry events/meetings, and office security (maintaining a balancing of convenience time saving services vs actual security risk)
- Oversee the execution and follow through of residential security assessments when necessary for any personnel based on risk as referred from the client Workplace Threat Assessment Team
- Closely work with other teams to maintain an active threat monitoring landscape adjusting risk based service thresholds as appropriate
- Maintain relationship with contracted car services to validate security and resiliency preparedness
- Maintain relationship with client Travel Security Services manager for hotel security assessments and/or recommendations
