Product Marketing Specialist

Position Summary
Support marketing efforts related to communication of company products which helps drive product sales, product adoption and customer retention. Coordinates Ford PartsPlus product-related communications to prospective and current customers and trade publications. Coordinates efforts with all internal product and marketing teams on assigned projects to lead to desired results.
Job Duties
- Owns all aspects of the marketing plan by serving as the marketing expert for selected market segments; includes but is not limited to researching, developing, presenting and implementing marketing plans, projects and programs that meet the needs of the products and grow the business.
- Serves as a trusted marketing advisor to internal teams by initiating, owning and driving new and fresh marketing needs for business unit across all teams and audiences.
- Writes, executes and coordinates product-related materials that inform/educate prospective and current customers, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, presentations, letters, e- mails, web pages, newsletters, social media or other materials for assigned target areas.
- Proactively coordinates efforts cross-functionally with internal staff to better understand company and product marketing needs and help others understand marketing’s needs; Leads process of work product requests through internal teams and external agencies as needed to accomplish desired results.
- Writes content for, email, website, social media, brochures in conjunction with other product marketing specialists and manager.
- Develops a deeper understanding of the automotive parts industry to adequately connect and work with external and internal experts to push awareness of brand forward. External experts include OEM representatives, publications and associations, and research experts.
- Plans, organises and executes marketing plans in collaboration with Manager.
Experience required
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Marketing or related discipline; or in the absence of a degree, directly-related job experience.
- At least 3-4 years of marketing or product marketing experience with a focus on marketing communication, preferably in a technology-driven industry.
- Strong experience within the marketing discipline including writing technical, web, newspaper or book content and experience with social media.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent writing skills are required, along with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Dutch both spoken and written.
