Vertical Market Leader – Datacenters

Strategic Leadership

  • Own and lead the company’s global data center growth strategy with full accountability for outcomes—revenue, margin, and share growth within the vertical.
  • Serve as the senior-most data center expert and evangelist internally and externally, particularly focused on high-growth areas such as liquid cooling at the rack and server level.
  • Develop and maintain a clear, actionable roadmap for penetrating and expanding our presence in the data center market.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Execution

  • Lead cross-functional execution across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and M&A to ensure aligned delivery of the data center strategy.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to track performance, course-correct quickly, and report progress to executive leadership and investors.

Market Expansion & Ecosystem Development

  • Drive expansion into adjacencies—including liquid cooling, monitoring, controls, and beyond—with an eye toward innovation, differentiation, and long-term competitiveness.
  • Build relationships with key ecosystem players (OEMs, hyperscalers, integrators, consultants, channel partners) to create partnerships, co-innovation opportunities, and early visibility into market shifts.
  • Evaluate and recommend potential M&A or partnership opportunities to accelerate time to market and/or fill portfolio gaps.

Customer-Centric Growth Execution

  • Regularly engage with strategic customers and prospects to understand needs, pain points, and trends—converting that into actionable growth plans.
  • Ensure customer feedback is integrated into our offerings, go-to-market plans, and product roadmaps.
  • Be the executive sponsor for major accounts or breakthrough deals, particularly in the liquid cooling space. 

YOU HAVE:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or similar. MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years in data center infrastructure, ideally with time spent in liquid cooling, leak detection, thermal management, or related technologies.
  • Proven track record of leading business growth through strategic leadership, product or market expansion, and/or ecosystem development.
  • Experience in working with or for major players like Vertiv, nVent, Stulz, Schneider Electric, or similar.
  • Global business experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities

  • Deep industry network and understanding of the data center buyer ecosystem, including hyperscalers, colos, and enterprise segments.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to translate vision into executable plans.
  • Strong communicator, both up to executive leadership and across technical and commercial functions.
