Territory Sales Representative - Industrial
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Drive specifications of Chemelex's Tracer and Raychem products and services at industrial owner accounts.
- Pursue and secure projects that involve any combination of product supply, engineering, and construction services.
- Customers include, but are not limited to, end users, engineering firms, and OEMs.
- Track project opportunities, lead customers in the CRM system, and establish a winning strategy resulting in project awards.
- Coordination with proposal/estimating groups, engineering, project management, and construction teams.
- Diligent self-initiated sales call activity required
- Infrequent domestic travel required outside of the territory
- Chemelex will provide training for all new hires, which will include formal training modules and/or mentorship through on-the-job training.
YOU HAVE:
- Associates' or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Ideally, 7+ years of previous experience in or with technical sales in the industrial space
- Validated history of sales excellence, preferably in Heat Tracing, I&E, or Soft Craft contractor industry
- Previous experience in or with Salesforce or a comparable CRM tool, and Microsoft Office
- Insatiable drive for success; results-oriented self-motivator
- Strong technical capability with a passion for solution selling
- Highly organized and efficient with the ability to prioritize and exhibit strong time management skills
- Uncompromised business and personal ethics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present and influence views in a clear and compelling manner
- Ability to conduct job walk-downs in industrial facilities
- Ability to work from a Chemelex office in Freeport, TX, and or from home and travel in the South Houston/Brazoria County region as needed
