Nuheat Flooring Designer (18-Month Contract, 100% remote, availability in Vancouver and surrounding area and Edmonton)

As a Nuheat Flooring Designer, you will play a key role in supporting the Nuheat product line and contributing to the achievement of company objectives. This position is responsible for creating production-ready drawings for custom radiant floor heating mats using AutoDesk AutoCAD, as well as preparing customer quotations across North America. By delivering exceptional service, you will embody our Customer First core value and help distinguish Chemelex from its competitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create accurate 2D AutoCAD design drawings and quotations for custom mat manufacturing, supporting Sales, Customer Care, and Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with customers and Regional Sales Managers to resolve measurement issues and complete quote requests.
  • Provide on-call support for site measurements and customer inquiries.
  • Offer design and technical expertise to both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Drafting Certificate with AutoCAD proficiency preferred; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction, including the ability to interpret architectural and electrical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce is an asset.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, excels in team collaboration, and adapts well to shifting priorities.
