Video: What We Do
Duties:
Daily checks on the condition of hazardous waste containers, special handling containers, and collection containers.
Management of logs of waste inputs and outputs to warehouses.
Verification of sanitizing gel dispensers, eyewash stations, emergency showers, emergency lights, and emergency doors.
Supervision of the monthly fire extinguisher inspection program.
Preparation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments, e.g., weighing, packing cardboard boxes, labeling, inventory preparation, among others.
Operation of water evaporator and cardboard compactor.
Support in safety and hygiene matters, verification of unsafe conditions, use of personal protective equipment, and training.
Preparation of reports and logs.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Complete documentation
- Previous experience in similar positions related to environmental matters, safety and hygiene, weight and measurements
- Forklift operation knowledge
