Join Our Engineering Team!
We are looking for an experienced Engineer Technician to join our technical team.
What You'll Do:
- Support the engineering team with technical solutions for aerospace and industrial gas turbine components
- Optimize production processes using lean methodology to improve efficiency and quality
- Develop and track KPIs to measure process and product outcomes
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop repair processes that meet Chromalloy and customer requirements
- Execute technical projects that positively impact site operational and financial performance
- Design, develop, and implement tooling/equipment improvements for repair operations
- Troubleshoot process/production problems and implement effective solutions
- Prepare accurate technical documentation including reports, specifications, and procedures
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff and operators
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization
What You Bring:
- 1-2 years' experience in aerospace or industrial gas turbine engine technical role
- Previous experience on a technical team involved in product development and production support
- Proven ability to solve moderate-level technical and production issues
- Experience with process design, best practices, and technology implementation
- Ability to interface effectively with technical team members and other organizational functions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field
- Proficiency in CAD software (NX preferred)
- Experience with CNC programming and/or robotics
- Familiarity with various measurement techniques including CMM and laser scanning
- Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and documentation management

Requirements:
- Technical associate's degree OR High school diploma/GED with equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of gas turbine design and manufacturing methodologies
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a production environment
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
