Join Our Engineering Team!

We are looking for an experienced Engineer Technician to join our technical team.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Support the engineering team with technical solutions for aerospace and industrial gas turbine components
  • Optimize production processes using lean methodology to improve efficiency and quality
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure process and product outcomes
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop repair processes that meet Chromalloy and customer requirements
  • Execute technical projects that positively impact site operational and financial performance
  • Design, develop, and implement tooling/equipment improvements for repair operations
  • Troubleshoot process/production problems and implement effective solutions
  • Prepare accurate technical documentation including reports, specifications, and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff and operators
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization

 

What You Bring:

  • 1-2 years' experience in aerospace or industrial gas turbine engine technical role
  • Previous experience on a technical team involved in product development and production support
  • Proven ability to solve moderate-level technical and production issues
  • Experience with process design, best practices, and technology implementation
  • Ability to interface effectively with technical team members and other organizational functions

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field
  • Proficiency in CAD software (NX preferred)
  • Experience with CNC programming and/or robotics
  • Familiarity with various measurement techniques including CMM and laser scanning
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and documentation management

Requirements:

  • Technical associate's degree OR High school diploma/GED with equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge of gas turbine design and manufacturing methodologies
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a production environment
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
