At Sheraton Pittsburgh at Station Square /The Factory South Shore, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food and outstanding customer service in a welcoming environment. We're currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor / Food and Beverage Manager to lead our front-of-house team and ensure smooth daily operations. The restaurant is located in the lobby of the Sheraton at Station Square.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations
  • Coordinating all large parties at the Factory South Shore.
  • Working daily as host and greeting the guests at The Factory South Shore.
  • Full understanding of Open Table Reservation system
  • Sales and selling, coordinating, communicating all parties over 10 people for the Factory South Shore
  • Support and motivate front-of-house and back of the house staff to deliver excellent service
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing all activities in the restaurant. Working with the hotel coordinating all groups and outside guests.
  • Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Work closely with kitchen and all management teams to improve overall efficiency and guest experience
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock ordering as needed for food and beverage.
  • Manage cash handling and daily financial reports
  • Opening shifts / Mid-day shifts / Closing shifts

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Free standing food service or pervious hotel experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage safety and hygiene regulations
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Working with: Director of Food and Beverage, Food and Beverage Manager and Restaurant Manager

 

The iconic Sheraton at Station Square located on the South Shore of Pittsburgh has 399 sleeping rooms with 30,000 square foot of operable banquet space.
