The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.
Position Summary:
The Food and Beverage Ordering & Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately placing and receiving food and beverage orders, ensuring inventory is properly documented and stored, and maintaining strong communication with vendors and internal departments. This individual must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess intermediate kitchen knowledge. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player, ready to assist in other areas of the department as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Place and track food and beverage orders with approved vendors.
- Receive deliveries, verify accuracy of shipments, and ensure proper storage of all items.
- Lift and transport inventory items up to 75 pounds.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computer-based systems.

Monitor stock levels and notify management of low inventory or discrepancies.

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during receiving and storage.

Perform and be familiar with food and beverage inventory and pair level at the end of each month
- Assist in basic food prep or kitchen tasks when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and suppliers.
- Support team efforts by helping in other areas of the department when required.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Strong computer skills
· Familiarity with inventory/order management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Intermediate kitchen skills and understanding of food handling protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a kitchen, food service, or receiving role preferred.
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Flexible schedule preferred; full-time schedule typically includes Thursdays and Sundays off.
- As a hotel operating 24/7, schedule flexibility is essential to support business and occupancy needs.
- This position involves standing, walking, lifting, and moving items in a busy kitchen and receiving environment.
