Job Title: Front Desk Manager

Department:Front Office/Front Desk
Reports to: General Manager / Director Of Front Office
Location: Sheraton Station Square
Supervises: Concierge, Front Desk Agents, Front Desk Supervisors and Hotel Operations.


Job Summary:

The Front Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing all front office operations to ensure exceptional guest service and smooth daily operations. This includes the front desk, guest services, and concierge.  The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. This position works closely with other department heads to support hotel operations and maintain service standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and train the front office team to deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Ensure efficient check-in/check-out procedures and handling of guest requests.
  • Monitor and improve guest satisfaction scores (e.g., through feedback, surveys, online reviews).
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management and Reservations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Marriott required operations: GXP; Chats. 
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll, and budgeting for the Front Office department.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, brand standards, and local laws.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality in all guest-facing areas.
  • Implement standard operating procedures and ensure they are followed consistently.
  • Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as required, overseeing hotel-wide operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of progressive hotel experience, with at least 1 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Lightspeed MARSHA etc.).
  • Knowledge of budgeting, payroll, and revenue management principles.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
