What You Will Accomplish Here…
As a Practice Lead, Cybersecurity, you will be responsible for driving business growth within the Information Security Services (ISS) team, which includes investigating new verticals for sales, in alignment with strategic goals. You will also be responsible for overseeing a team of security consultants responsible for partnering with clients to guide them in developing an improved security position, including developing security programs in alignment with information security frameworks.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Defines services offered by the team in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Contributes to sales support materials, including service descriptions and pricing templates.
- Establishes the penetration testing methodology and related processes and tools.
- Works closely with Project Managers (PMs) for resource scheduling to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Responsible for all deliverables and quality produced by the team.
- Oversees all projects, including keeping abreast of project statuses, overseeing billable utilization, and interfacing with clients to manage their expectations.
- Acts as a liaison with clients, taking the time to understand their evolving needs and developing the client relationship.
- Performs account planning activities for assigned clients/accounts, including attending recurring meetings.
- Oversees a team of employees, including working mentoring and coaching team members while setting goals and performance standards.
- Defines training plans and resources for employee growth and success.
- May assist with conducting security assessments that can be multi-faceted for a wide variety of assigned clients.
- Researches best practices, developments, techniques and trends in information security and determines relevance to client organizations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills, and Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field is preferred, however related experience may also be acceptable.
- CISSP, CISM, SANS, or Offensive Security certification(s) is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in a related position is preferred.
- Must have a good understanding of Linux, Windows and network security.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal support.
- Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and written, with other members of the team and clients.
- Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
Location: This is an in-office position located at our Moncton, New Brunswick location.
Schedule: Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay: CAD $100,000 - $110,000
Travel: up to 40% travel is expected for this position.
