Identity & Access Administrator

Summary

The Identity & Access Administrator is responsible for managing and securing the organization's identity and access management (IAM) systems. This role involves developing and implementing IAM strategies, managing user access rights, monitoring and auditing access, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The administrator will also provide user support, handle incident management, and integrate new technologies into the IAM framework. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to security are essential for this position.

He/she is a member of the corporate security team which provides services to the global kdc/one. Kdc/one operates over 4,500 endpoint devices in more than 50 locations around the globe.

 

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

  • Develops and implements Identity and access management strategies.
  • Manages identities throughout their lifecycle (onboarding, transfer, departure).
  • Fulfills access requests to IT services and systems (grants, modifies, revokes access).
  • Endeavours to automate identity management and access fulfillment tasks.
  • Monitors and audits user access rights.
  • Assists in the development of policies, standards and procedures related to access security systems.
  • Resolves complex issues related to identities and access.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant policies related to access security.
  • Develops and provides training on company-wide identity and access management procedures
  • Investigates, reports and resolves any identity and access-related incidents
  • Works with IT teams to integrate new technologies into the identity and access management framework.

 

Education / Certification / Qualifications / Experience

  • Degree in the field of Computer Science or other related field, and/or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred certifications include:
    • Microsoft Certifications
    • CompTIA A+ Certification
    • CompTIA Security+ (or other Information Security Training)
    • ITIL Certification
