Clerk - Accounts Receivable-Chemaid Accounting/Finance Hourly SGA

Basic Functions:        

Cross-functional responsibility for inputting invoices and maintaining appropriate files, allocating cash receipts, verifying lockbox receipts, researching and tracking customer deductions to resolution for Chemaid site.

Responsibilities:

1. Verification, printing and mailing of all invoices.
2. Input and verification for customer cash application process.
3. Record and follow through to completion all customer deductions; obtaining information and distributing to appropriate personnel.
4. Responsible for assigned customers, assuring payments are received in a timely manner and timely review of AR aging.
5. Send out customer statements monthly.
6. Respond to KDC’s requests for AR information, questions and follow up as needed.
7. Initiate collections on past due accounts
8. Back-up for manager on calls to customers.
9. Help AP department when needed.
10. Other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma.
2. Three to five years related experience.
3. Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
4. Basic computer skills necessary.
5. Accounting courses and Excel software experience necessary.
