Job Description

 

Job Summary

 

The Certified Nursing Assistant is trained to provide personal care and supportive services to the unit’s patient population.  They function under the direction and supervision of the RN.

Qualifications

 

Education:

  1. GED or High School Graduate required.
  2. Completion of a State approved Certified Nursing Assistant program with a South Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required.  

 

Experience:  

Six months of previous nursing assistant experience preferred.

 

Other Qualifications:

Current BLS certification.
