Position Summary
East Cooper Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Outpatient Neuro Physical Therapist to join our rehab team. The ideal candidate will assess and treat patients with a variety of neurological conditions, including:

• Stroke
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Other movement and balance disorders

This role focuses on improving mobility, independence, and quality of life using evidence-based techniques. You'll work in a collaborative outpatient setting alongside a multidisciplinary team, with a flexible schedule and opportunities to support diverse patient populations.

Core Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy treatments to outpatient neuro patients
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient management
• Supervise LPTAs and PT aides to ensure quality and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all treatments and evaluations
• Use clinical equipment appropriately and safely in accordance with standards
• Provide age-appropriate care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Deliver in-services and training for other staff members as needed

Qualifications

Education & Licensure
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required)
• Current license from the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (SCPTA)
• Current BLS certification

Experience
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Must have at least one year of professional experience before serving as a clinical supervisor for student interns
• Preferred: Experience with neurological rehabilitation and outpatient physical therapy
