Job Title: Patient Services Representative

Job Environment: Medical office position responsible for front-office processes in the cardiology practice

Location: Bluffton, SC

Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments and manage check-in/check-out processes

• Provide a welcoming experience and top-notch customer service

• Collect co-pays and process charges

• Perform charge entry and patient balance processing

• Distribute information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, and information about the practice

• Explain and enroll patients in the patient portal

Education:

• Required: High school diploma/GED

• Preferred: Completion of or currently enrolled in a medical office assistant program

Experience:

• Must have 2 years of experience working in an administrative or scheduling capacity in an office setting

• Must be skilled in MS Office Suite, including Excel

• Exposure to a medical records management system and/or scheduling software preferred
