East Cooper Breast and Surgery is seeking a Patient Services Representative.
 
Job Title: Patient Services Representative

 
Responsibilities: 

  • Schedules patient appointments and manages check-in/check-out processes. 

  • Provides welcoming experience and top-notch customer service. 

  • Collects co-pays and post charges. 

  • Charge entry and patient balance processing. 

  • Distributes information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, information about the practice, etc. 

  • Explain and enroll patients in the patient portal. 

 

Education 

  • Required: High school diploma/GED. 

  • Preferred: Completion of or currently enrolled in a medical office assistant program 

 

Experience 

  • Must have 2 years of experience working in an administrative or scheduling capacity in an office setting 

  • Must be skilled in MS Office Suite, including Excel.  

  • Exposure to a medical records management system and/or scheduling software preferred.
