Novant Health Southeastern Spine Institute –Travel to Murrells Inlet, Georgetown, and West Ashley, SC

Schedule:
Part-time | 3 Days per Week | Travel Required

Summary:
Join our dynamic team at Novant Health Southeastern Spine Institute as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). In this pivotal, part-time role, you’ll provide direct patient care across multiple clinic locations—Murrells Inlet, Georgetown, and West Ashley—supporting physicians in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Your work will help ensure patient safety, comfort, and a smooth clinical experience across the care continuum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Assist in evaluating patient needs and contribute to individualized care plans.

• Documentation: Accurately complete medical record entries in accordance with practice charting policies.

• Clinical Support: Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during exams, treatments, and procedures.

• Care Coordination: Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals for diagnostic testing or specialist care as directed.

• Patient Education: Provide patients with clear instructions and guidance related to their care and answer routine questions.

Education & Experience:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.

• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a physician office setting required.

Certifications:

• Required:

  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential

  • Current CPR certification

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing and able to travel between Murrells Inlet, Georgetown, and West Ashley on a scheduled basis.

• Reliable transportation is required.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage patient flow and multi-site responsibilities.
