Work Schedule: 8 hour shifts

Position Summary
Assists the pharmacist in the preparation and delivery of medications to hospitalized patients in such a manner that will provide the optimum quantity and quality of care. To assist the pharmacist with non- professional duties to ensure that the Pharmacy Department will be in full compliance with all state, federal, DHEC, and Board of Pharmacy laws, rules and regulations.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have completed pharmacy technician training or have Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Must be able to use computer, unit dose packaging machine and hyperalimentation base compounding machine.
• Must possess the ability to work with sustained attention, concentration and carefulness on routine and repetitious tasks and assignments.
