Market MRI Radiology Supervisor Full Time Days Position Summary: 

· Coordinates daily workflow of technologists within the MRI departments at Hilton Head Hospital, Coastal Carolina Hospital, and the Bluffton Medical Campus. 

· Performs and assists with MRI studies 

· Coordinate the MRI technologist schedules including call schedules and holiday schedule. 

· Assists with performance improvement P.I. initiatives within the department. 

· Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with Joint Commission, federal, state and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. 

· Assists to ensure departmental supplies are maintained. 

· Responsible for maintaining productivity in the departments. 

· Responsible for growing volumes in the department. 

· Responsible for training and orienting staff in the MRI departments. 

· Responsible for staff retention in the MRI departments. 

· Responsible for creating and maintaining MRI protocols for all procedures and equipment under the direction of the Director of Imaging Services and the Medical Director of Radiology. 

· Assist with operational and staff supervision of the MRI departments under the direction of the Market Director of Imaging.

Market MRI Radiology Supervisor Full Time Days Position Requirements:

Education: 

Registered with either the ARRT with MR Certification or ARMRIT 

Experience: 

Five (5) years of experience under a board certified radiologist preferred. 

Supervisory experience, preferred 

Other Qualifications: 

1. Current BLS certification 

2. MRSO certification, preferred
