Position Summary

Novant Health is seeking an experienced healthcare operations leader to support and guide multiple medical practices across the Hilton Head market. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in practice administration, team leadership, and operational strategy—and who is comfortable overseeing multiple sites and leading through influence.

The Market Operations Manager will partner closely with local practice leaders and providers to improve performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic goals. This is a mid-level operations role that requires experience beyond front-line management—ideal for those who have led teams or departments and understand the complexity of multi-site healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Oversight

• Provide direct support and leadership to site leaders across the market.

• Conduct regular practice visits to build relationships, assess operations, and drive continuous improvement.

• Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and teamwork.

Operational Execution & Strategic Alignment

• Lead initiatives to improve access, patient experience, and operational efficiency.

• Support growth strategies and help implement new service lines or business models.

• Partner with senior leadership and providers to align day-to-day operations with long-term goals.

Financial & Compliance Accountability

• Help develop and monitor budgets, ensuring responsible resource management.

• Analyze financial reports and operational data to identify performance trends and opportunities.

• Ensure all practices operate within local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.

Workforce Development & Integration

• Support staffing needs, including onboarding of clinical and administrative team members.

• Ensure new hires are integrated successfully into practice workflows and culture.

• Act as a liaison for shared services and support functions (IT, HR, Finance).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field strongly preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, ideally within a multi-site practice or clinic environment.

• Proven ability to lead teams, navigate change, and manage operational priorities in a dynamic setting.

• Strong business and financial acumen, with an understanding of the healthcare landscape and compliance requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across levels.
