Registered Dietitian
Novant Health

Position Overview:
As a Registered Dietitian at Novant Health, you will play a vital role in providing expert nutrition care across a variety of clinical settings. You will conduct nutritional assessments, deliver medical nutrition therapy, educate patients, and collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Provide medical nutrition therapy to support patient health and disease management.
Educate and counsel patients and their families on dietary modifications and nutrition-related health topics.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up on patient progress.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required; graduate degree preferred.
Registered Dietitian (RD) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
State licensure as a Dietitian required.
Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred.
Strong communication skills and proficiency with electronic health records.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Positions available in inpatient, outpatient, and specialty clinic settings.
Flexible schedule including possible weekend or holiday rotations.
