Collections Manager
We are seeking a top-notch Collections Manager to lead our collections team and streamline our strategies for reducing outstanding debt. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of collection laws and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement. Your role will primarily focus on coaching and mentoring the team to effectively resolve unpaid accounts, handling negotiations for extensions or write-off debt. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in analytics, reporting, and written communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective collections strategies to minimize unpaid debt.
- Coach and mentor the collections team to enhance their negotiation skills and achieve collection targets.
- Analyze collection metrics and prepare comprehensive reports on performance and strategy effectiveness.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of collection laws to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve account discrepancies and enhance customer relationships.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
