About the Role
SRM Concrete is seeking a talented Product Designer to join our Digital & Analytics team at our Home Office in Murfreesboro, TN. In this role, you'll design intuitive, user-centered digital tools and AI-driven experiences that enhance both customer interactions and internal operations. You'll collaborate closely with the User Interface (UI) and Engineering team, and take on product management functions, including writing features and managing workflows in Aha! to develop solutions that streamline processes and elevate the user experience.
What You’ll Do
- Design Comprehensive Product Experiences: Help lead the design of digital products from concept to completion, ensuring they are user-friendly and align with SRM Concrete's commitment to quality and service.
- Enhance Operational Workflows: Develop solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our internal teams, including dispatchers, plant managers, and sales representatives.
- Elevate Customer Interactions: Create digital interfaces that provide our customers with seamless and engaging experiences, reflecting our dedication to unmatched service.
- Integrate AI Thoughtfully: Design interfaces for AI-powered features such as predictive analytics and intelligent assistants, ensuring they add tangible value to users.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with the UI and Engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with technical requirements.
- Perform Product Management Functions: Utilize Aha! to write detailed feature requirements, manage product roadmaps, and track progress, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Prototype and Iterate Rapidly: Utilize tools like Figma to develop prototypes, gather user feedback, and refine designs swiftly.
- Contribute to Design Standards: Help maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital products.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in UX and UI design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, with the ability to create both low and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams to bring designs to life, understanding technical constraints and opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Aha! or similar product management tools, with the ability to write features, manage roadmaps, and perform related product management tasks.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in the construction or manufacturing industries, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within these sectors.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, and experience designing interfaces that incorporate these technologies.
- Knowledge of front-end development principles and the ability to work closely with engineers to implement designs.
