Your Role
Warehouse Manager
Work Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Shift and Hours: 7:00am to 5:30pm
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; occasional weekends
This is a hands-on position with a heavy emphasis on leading the activities that relate to inventory management, Production and Quality assurance. The successful candidate must be proficient using computer software, including warehouse management systems, Excel, and enterprise systems such as SAP. The role will lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse material handlers, inventory coordinators, production staff and Quality assurance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Essential Functions

Leading all aspects of inventory movement of materials and tools, including stocking, re-stocking, and accounting for every item in the warehouse

Participates in monthly and year-end inventory cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation issues

Coordinates inventory requirements and procurement details with the Division’s General Manager

Track the transportation and distribution of all inbound and outbound receipts

Participates in the inventory cycle counting

Ensures all employees and visitors entering warehouse are wearing the proper safety equipment and security badges at all times

Works in conjunction with all staff to ensure readiness for any inspection or audit

Lead the warehouse safety committee

Making sure the production team meets all deadlines.

What We’d Like to See from You
Required
-
Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management, quality management and Production Management.

Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e., Excel, Word, etc.

Excellent communications skills (written, verbal & listening) and interpersonal skills needed in order to interface with and influence all levels of personnel

Ability to work Monday through Friday assigned schedule, with occasional required weekends

Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize daily work and meet all internal and external deadlines

Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds
Highly Desired

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in transportation, warehousing, and/or distribution environment

Experience using ERP’s, such as Sage, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc.

Experienced using a forklift and pallet jacks

Prior Forklift Certification with ability to be recertified
