Position Overview

This is a full-time position is devoted to supporting internal and external digital transformation efforts at Foundation Building Materials, reporting to the Implementation Manager of FBM’s Digital Assets. The focus of this position is ‘selling’ FBM’s digital products (MyFBM), promoting adoption of FBM’s digital assets, increasing digital sales across the company, conducting market survey & analysis, provide training and implementation help to the branches.

 

This position requires up to 50% travel within assigned regions and nationally (CA, OR, NV, WA, TX)

 

Key Responsibilities

In-Market Work

  • Drive Customer awareness, activation and adoption of FBM’s Digital Assets, resulting in increased Digital Sales.
  • Schedule and execute in-market branch training, sales rep training and customer meetings.
  • Cross-sell complementary product categories to existing accounts.
  • Lead in-branch and on-jobsite events/demos.
  • Provide eCommerce-specific data, insights and opportunities to all FBM Branches, Sales Reps and Sales Leadership, within the relevant and assigned FBM Regions.

 

Digital Product

  • Act as the primary conduit between MyFBM team and the branches.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Assist with digital merchandising and digital product enhancements.
  • Conduct voice of customers surveys and compile feedback to inform the digital product team for new enhancements, improvements and future roadmap.
  • Facilitate monthly meeting with RVPs, District Managers, and Local Digital Champions.
  • Primary educator for MyFBM and digital connectivity within the region.

 

Customer Service

  • Ensure regional branches deliver a top-tier customer experience, proactively addressing and promptly resolving any customer service concerns and inquires. 
  • Train and develop branch staff in maintaining prompt responses and ensuring adherence to FBM’s customer service policies
  • Uphold FBM brand standards throughout the branches and showrooms

  • Strong customer service, comfortable with verbal and written communication, and can coach the local sales teams.
  • Team Player who is comfortable engaging and collaborating with employees, customers, and leadership teams.

  • Sales knowledge, understanding of customer habits.
  • Fluency in branch operations.
  • Strong understanding of CRM and CSD.
  • Expert in MyFBM.

Compensation

  • Base: $55,000 - $80,000 Annually (Depending on Location)
  • Bonus: 25% Target Bonus
  • Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $68,750 - $100,000.
