Senior Financial Analyst
Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst is a highly visible role that is responsible for supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes, preparing monthly management reporting, leading annual long-range strategic plans, and supporting key strategic initiatives to drive future growth and profitability.
The ideal candidate is a strong self-starter and team player that is willing to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. We are a growing company, and while this role will be responsible for several recurring tasks, this role will also regularly take on ad hoc tasks needed by upper management and/or other team members to advance the company’s strategic priorities. The flexibility, time management, and maturity to handle the ebb and flow of assignments is as important as the technical and analytical skills required to be successful in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Key partner to regional operations senior leadership to drive the financial planning and reporting of the business; including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions.
- Develops and leads annual Financial Planning/Budgeting process across the assigned regions including creating detailed branch level budgets.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance, and provide recommendations for achieving targets.
- Transform data into actionable insights and recommendations. Present clear and concise results, including processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field of study (Finance or Accounting preferred).
- 5+ years relevant work experience in financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
- Experience with Planning, Reporting, BI and visualization systems required; Planful / Host Analytics and PowerBI preferred
- Advanced Excel modeling skills required
- Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills required. Must demonstrate ability to successfully interact effectively with all levels in the organization.
- High level of initiative and critical thinking to formulate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable solutions.
- Ability to work cross functionally and support multiple senior level clients.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data and diligence when managing detail.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Time management and ability to complete work under tight deadlines.
- Certified Corporate Financial and Analysis Professional certification preferred

Compensation
- Base: $110,000 - $120,000 / Annual
- Bonus: 10% Target Bonus
- Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $110,000 - $137,500.
- Equity: This role is not eligible for equity opportunities, awards or grants.
