Position Overview
Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Specialist to join our team. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in treasury operations, cash management, and payment processing within a dynamic corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash positions and analyze cash flow trends.
- Assist in maintaining and updating short-term cash flow forecast models.
- Support the administration of the company’s bank accounts, treasury documentation, and banking relationships.
- Support payment processing activities, including:
- Initiating and verifying payment instructions to ensure accuracy and security.
- Setting up and maintaining payment templates for recurring transactions.
- Coordinating with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
- Provide support for merchant services, including:
- Performing credit card device inspections to ensure proper functionality and security.
- Monitoring credit card transactions to identify irregularities and potential fraud risks.
- Assisting operating branches with merchant service-related inquiries.
- Respond to treasury-related requests and questions from operating branches.
- Support the preparation and review of financial schedules and internal reports.
- Conduct research and analysis related to banking fees and financial transactions.
- Assist with compliance efforts related to financial regulations and internal controls.
- Participate in special treasury-related projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in corporate finance and treasury functions.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts, cash management, and risk assessment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to take initiative and learn new skills.

Compensation
- Base: $70,000 - $85,000 / Annual
- Bonus: 10% Target Bonus
- Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $70,000 - $96,475.
