Driver - Shuttle-Chatsworth Warehouse Corisco Indirect

General Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and a commitment to safety. As a Warehouse Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials between different locations within our warehouse facility.

Specific Responsibilities & Duties:

• Safely operate a shuttle vehicle to transport goods and materials within the warehouse premises.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Load and unload goods and materials from the shuttle vehicle.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance and trip logs.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of lifting-up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a shuttle driver or a similar role.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:

• Process manufacturing environment
• Moderate to heavy traffic including forklifts.
• Noise level is moderate.
• Lighting is low to moderate.
