The Principal Product Dimensional Engineer is responsible for technical/production support, process/product development and optimization of Aerospace and Industrial gas turbine systems for assigned areas and its applicability to NPI, Repair and OEM businesses. The Engineer will lead significant project teams producing new designs, repairs, and processes utilizing Lean tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering analysis on turbine, compressor, and combustor components, both new and repaired.
- Apply Continuous Improvement (CI) tools to enhance product and manufacturing systems.
- Optimize product design and production processes using lean methodologies with measurable business impact.
- Develop and track KPIs to manage product and process performance.
- Lead projects from concept to completion, balancing technical, budget, staffing, and schedule needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design and repair components that meet cost, performance, and durability goals.
- Partner with site engineers to drive operational and financial improvements using CI tools.
- Make informed technical decisions and provide clear guidance to ensure team alignment.
- Own technical oversight of assigned components/processes throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
- Identify and implement tooling and equipment improvements; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Create accurate technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and manuals.
- Present technical work effectively to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/PROFICIENCIES:
- BS Engineering in a related Engineering discipline (or work equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of engineering experience, Aerospace or Industrial gas turbine engine engineering preferred
- Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance testing preferred
- Proficient in Lean, CI, and Six Sigma methodologies
- Understanding of program management tools and skill set
- Thoughtful and effective communications skills with a leadership mentality
