Digital Market Place Manager - US

 

The Digital Marketplace Manager is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for managing and scaling the Clarks’ presence on digital marketplaces such as eBay, Walmart, TikTok, etc. This role focuses not only on day-to-day marketplace operations but also on developing and executing data-driven strategies to drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and build a profitable marketplace business for Clarks in North America. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with merchandising, IT, marketing, customer service, and fulfillment teams.

What You'll Do:

• Marketplace Strategy Development.

• Develop the marketplace expansion strategy for the North American market (marketplace, consumer, product mix), ensuring alignment with brand and business goals.

 • Partner with finance to build business case and commercials to support expansion plan.

 • Partner with IT to build out technology needs and implementation requirements.

 • Develop and execute strategies for each marketplace, leveraging intel from each marketplace and aligning with brand and business goals.

 • Oversee day-to-day management of marketplace business and operations.

 • Monitor sales, traffic, and rankings vs targets.

• Analyze performance data and adjust strategies to improve ROI.

• Partner with merchandising to drive appropriate pricing, promotion and content to support sales and gross margin targets.

 • Manage product uploads, titles, descriptions, and images.

• Optimize listings for SEO and conversions.

 • Partner with finance, IT, merchandising, and marketplace account teams to optimize performance, pricing, and promotions.

 • Drive marketplace growth through product listings, SEO optimization, digital merchandising, and advertising strategies.

• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure order fulfillment and returns are handled effectively.

 • Work closely with product merchandising, site merchandising, DC logistics, IT, and finance teams to achieve profit targets.

What You'll Bring:

• Strong understanding of digital commerce operations, payment systems, fraud prevention, and order fulfillment best practices.

• Experience in marketplace management, SEO optimization, digital merchandising, and advertising strategies.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and make data-driven decisions to drive cost efficiencies and marketplace growth.

 • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

 • Proficiency in digital tools including OMS, WMS, PSP platforms, reporting dashboards, and marketplace software (e.g., Rithum, Feedonomics, Channel Engine).

 • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple stakeholders, and operate autonomously while driving strategic initiatives.

  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, marketplace management, or digital commerce operations.

• Proven track record of optimizing operational KPIs, driving cost efficiencies, and executing marketplace expansion strategies.

 • Experience managing third-party relationships and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
