About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to lead and support a variety of operational improvement initiatives within our operations department. This role focuses on CAPEX (Capital expenditures) project management, continuous improvement and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) You will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver impactful projects that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability across the site. This position requires strong project management expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple concurrent projects, including CAPEX investments, within the Operations department.
- Develop detailed project plans, define scope, allocate resources, and manage budgets and timelines.
- Ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide transparent progress updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
Continuous Improvement
- Support the Continuous Improvement Manager in deploying Lean Six Sigma and other CI methodologies.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
CAPEX Project Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle of CAPEX projects from concept to commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure CAPEX projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)
- Assist the EHS Manager in implementing site-wide EHS initiatives and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders.
- Present project updates to all levels of the organization.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and serve as a liaison between management and operational teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
- Proven experience managing CAPEX projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
