Executive Protection Agent

Operating with integrity in all aspects of the job is a must. Ideal past job experiences that prepare candidates for this role may include executive protection, alarm/camera operators, residential security, emergency response, or a combination of these.

What You Will Work On:
- Provide executive protection and logistics support as needed, including when the clients travel both domestically and abroad
- Advance locations prior to a protectee’s arrival
- Disseminate information regarding security-related incidents to protectee and leadership
- Coordinate contingency plans and medical response to emergencies
- Exercise sound operational judgment and flexibility to shifting priorities and challenges
- Incorporate the client’s core values and code of conduct in all decisions and actions.
- Responsible for making real-time operational decisions that enhance safety for the client and immediate family members.
- Maintain and manage all security logs, radio logs, visitor information, residence audits, vehicle inspections, and security phone communication.
- Monitor the residential intrusion detection system, panic alarms, and CCTV camera system.
- Access control for visitors, employees, and vendors.
- Opportunities for travel/special assignments.
- Demonstrate effective communication with the client, the family, and other team members.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Promote and establish effective working relationships with the client and the Team Lead to quickly resolve operational issues without affecting the client’s quality of life.
- Partner with various intelligence and investigations teams, global security operations center assets, other private security firms, and local law enforcement to proactively identify and mitigate threats.
- Detect and report suspicious activity and security vulnerabilities.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, multifaceted, and fast-paced environment.
What You Will Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in Executive Protection, Emergency Response Teams (ERT), PSD, or RST
- Required Certifications:
- LEOSA/HR 218 permit with yearly qualification card
- Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services Armed Personal Protection Specialist License
- Virginia CCW
- Current CPR certification
- Maryland Handgun Permit and Maryland Private Detective Certification
- Washington DC Unarmed Security Officer
- Must Pass:
- Physical Readiness Test (PRT) & Meet and Greet prior to offer of employment
- Executive Protection or Residential Security applicable academy or course
- Pre-employment Background Investigation (BGI)
- Random drug screenings
- Must Possess:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid current driver’s license
- Showcase abilities and experience in security planning, emergency response, conflict resolution, team environments and understanding of Residential Security Technologies
- Possess strong Written and Verbal Communication skills, Command Presence & Confidence in abilities to operate as a security professional
- Team members must always maintain physical readiness to respond to an attack or hazard
- Qualified Ability to travel and wok flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Excellent driving record
- Strong Situational awareness and decision-making under pressure
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws pertaining to self-defense, use of force, and firearms ensures compliance during operations
- Has demonstrated exceptional results in Close Protection role, including managing logistics, advancing locations, and providing secure transportation
- All agents are expected to be able to provide STO, body coverage, and perform advances
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience in executive protection, corporate security, law enforcement, or military service
- Specialized training in incident response, emergency medicine, or crisis management
- Assigned to State or Federal Law Enforcement Protection Units, specifically the close protection of Mayors, Governors, and high-ranking Federal Officials
- Assigned to Military Protective Security Operations Units, specially, Air Force OSI, Army CID, Marine Corps CID, or navy NCIS
- First Aid, CPR, AED certification
